										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Views: 182</p><p>20 round boxes of new .50 Alaskan Ammunition loaded with 435g WFN-GC (Wide flat nose Gas checked) to 2000FPS and 3863Ft-Lbs of energy on properly headstamped brass. This cartridge was developed in the 1950s by Harold Johnson a gunsmith in Cooper Landing Alaska as a cartridge that would handle the large bears of Alaska. It was based on a necked out 348 Winchester cartridge and originally mated with a re-barreled 1886 Winchester repeating rifle. Guns for this cartridge are now made for it by several high quality custom gun makers around the states.</p>
