This is our recommended super-sonic load. It is a Lapua match grade bullet.

AR-15 Cycling Behavior: Running 180gr supersonic loads generates a completely different gas volume and pressure curve than traditional sub-sonics. If your AR-15 is tuned with a light buffer and a large gas port to cycle low-pressure 278gr subs-onics, these supersonic 180gr rounds will cause violent, over-gassed cycling. An adjustable gas block is highly recommended if you plan to switch between these profiles. [1]
