We are happy to introduce our .480 Ruger Varmint Splash. For those that carry the .480 the 300g SWC-HP works very effectively on thin skin game. This allows a load that one can chamber as needed for smaller deer, coyote, other smaller nuisance animals. Designed for the .480 this bullet begins to expand on contact, with the weight behind it, this bullet ensures enough penetration for a clean kill. It does not fragment but recovered bullet do show lead smear loss.
