BHN is 8-9 perfectly suited for both smokeless and black powder loads in the .56-50 Spencer, 50-70, 50-90, and other low pressure .50 cal rifle loads. We lube them with our caralube intended for smokeless loads (color may vary). We will sell them without lube if you want to lube them yourself for black powder.

Progressive sized for easy start in the barrel, the band sizes start (from the base of the bullet) at .492, then .506, then .506, and the forward band at .510. With the meplat at .305″ provides for immediate shock on impact and normal expansion at .65 to.75″ depending on impact velocity. The hollow base ensures full bore engagement at the shot. BHN is 8-9 perfectly suited for black powder loads.
