.22 Reed Express loaded ammunition. 45g Hornady XTP Hollow Point. This load is very well suited for both hunting and SD applications, it will be the replacement for the 45g Nosler SBSP once our stock of bullets is completely used up. The Hornady XTP bullet has a very thin jacket up front that promotes rapid expansion, yet the base of the bullet is rather thick and will hold together and limit expansion for maximum terminal performance. Average expansion is .45″ with 10-12″ of penetration.

.22 Reed Express loaded ammunition. 50g Hornady V-Max. This ammunition works very well for both self-defense applications and small game hunting.

The polymer tip, upon impact is forced into the body of the bullet causing rapid expansion and virtual explosion of the bullet. Providing better flight characteristics than traditional round nose or flat point bullets, yet limiting over penetration and maximizing transfer of energy.

.22 Reed Express loaded ammunition. 45g Nosler Solid Base Soft Point. This ammunition workes very well for both self-defense applications and small game hunting.

This ammunition will very shortly be no longer made, Nosler discontinued the bullets and we are down to less than 1000. We will have the 50g V-Max and 45g XTP’s ready to serve as replacements. The 50g V-Max performs great, the XTP’s are still to be tested but look like they will be perfect for fur hunters.

2 Die set for loading and forming the .22 Reed Express Basic load data will be included with the die set. Forming is achieved by running a 7.62×25 case into the full-length die, no separate die is needed.
